The Brief
Create a detailed technical line drawing of a power tool, then create a specifications sheet that features the line drawing. Develop the line drawing into a realistic, vector-based illustration for use in a print advertisement. Design and write copy for the (hypothetical) advertisement and prepare the file appropriately for publishing in Bunnings Magazine.
The Solution
I chose to recreate the Ryobi One+ HP RSC18C Circular Saw. I produced both the technical line drawing and the colour rendering using vector tools in Illustrator, and laid out the specifications sheet and press advertisement InDesign.
